So the wife and I were watching CNN last night when her former employee flashes across the screen, accompanied by ominous video editing, staring into the camera and saying, "I wanted to get as much revenge as I could."
Turns out CNN is running a special this Friday on campus killers (and those who would imitate them, apparently), and your local bullet-obsessed barista is a feature presentation. Popcorn and fear at our place, Friday evening!

Now I'm going to go and ponder which of my students' faces will be on CNN in a similar context....
Let's hope this individual does not know where you currently live.
We're actually hoping as many friends as possible will come, provided you are willing to lay down your lives protecting our condo should the baristanator stop by.
Funny thing is, he's a fairly nice guy, homicidal tendencies aside. I think he just wanted attention, and now CNN is giving it to him in surplus.
"He's a fairly nice guy, homicidal tendencies aside" is my new favorite quote; I hope to use it in class lecture tomorrow, in fact. Wish I still lived near you guys so I could join the pug in putting my life on the line Friday night.
Well my blog is honored. I imagine the phrase could describe more than one historical dictator and/or revolutionary.
